Äscher-Ebenalp

An experience between heaven and cave: from the world-famous Äscher inn, which nestles spectacularly against the rock face, the trail leads through the mystical Wildkirchli caves up to Ebenalp - where Stone Age history and panoramic views meet. The cable car takes you back down to the valley.

From Hotel Heiden, you can reach Schwende, the starting point for the hike to Äscher, in around 30 minutes by car. Depending on the weather, the route is open from the beginning of May to the end of October
