General Terms and Conditions of Business and Use Hotel Heiden
Option dates
Option dates on offers are binding for both parties. If the option
period expires unused, the hotel may dispose of the optioned rooms,
premises and services without further notice.
Reservation/contract
The reservation agreement and any amendments thereto relating to
services provided by Hotel Heiden shall only become binding on the
hotel once they have been reconfirmed in writing by the customer.
The reconfirmation period expires 10 Conferences after
delivery.
Cancellation conditions
Cancellation up to 60 days before the event: free of charge
Cancellation 59 - 42 days before the event: 25% of the booked
services
Cancellation 41 - 15 days before the event: 50% of the booked
services
Cancellation 14 - 3 days before the event: 75% of the booked
services
From 6 p.m. two days before the event: 100% of the booked
services
-> an administration fee of CHF 300.00 will be charged for cancellations after delivery of our reservation confirmation/contract!
*10% of the booked rooms for group bookings or individual bookings of up to 3 rooms can be cancelled free of charge up to 6 pm two days before the event!
Number of people
The number of people registered at 6.00 p.m. two Conferences before
the event is decisive for the billing. If the number of
participants is lower than the final number reported, the final
number of participants will be charged. If the actual number of
participants increases, the actual number of participants will be
used as the basis for invoicing and the hotel does not guarantee
that all guests will be included. If only an approximate number of
people is stated, this number is considered definitive.
Schedule
Your schedule is of utmost importance to us. Deviations of half an
hour from the schedule you provide are acceptable. Deviations of
more than half an hour will be charged at CHF 55.00 per hour per
scheduled employee.
From midnight, we charge CHF 55.00 per hour and employee plus any consumptions incurred.
List of names / programme
We look forward to receiving the list of names (seminars & groups)
and the programme of the day up to 14 Conferences before
arrival.
Technical equipment
The Hotel Heiden will ensure that the technical equipment
(projector, audio system, ClickShare, etc.) is in perfect condition
and in working order. In this case, we will refund the rental
costs.
The following conditions apply if musical entertainment is booked:
- The volume must be kept at a level that does not disturb our hotel guests .
- Please note that the end of the musical entertainment at Hotel Heiden is set at 1.30 am. Of course, we have no objection to one or two encores. Electronically amplified or otherwise loud music must be muted from 11.30 pm out of consideration for our hotel guests.
- There are no time restrictions on musical entertainment in the Kursaal. However, we ask you to mute electronically amplified or otherwise loud music from 01.30 a.m.
- Copyright compensation in connection with music must be registered and paid by the organiser to Suisa!
The musicians and DJs you engage must adhere to our general terms and conditions!
Conditions of payment
Total invoice payable to the organiser within 10 Conferences.
Hotel Heiden is entitled to demand an appropriate advance payment or security deposit upon conclusion of the contract or thereafter. The amount of the advance payment and the payment dates will be announced with the offer/contract.
Right of withdrawal
If the customer can cancel free of charge in accordance with the
cancellation conditions or a separate agreement, Hotel Heiden is
entitled to withdraw from the contract during this period if there
are enquiries from other customers about the contractually booked
rooms/rooms and the customer does not waive their right to cancel
free of charge upon enquiry by Hotel Heiden.
If an agreed advance payment is not made even after a reasonable grace period set by Hotel Heiden has expired, Hotel Heiden is also entitled to withdraw from the contract.
Furthermore, Hotel Heiden is entitled to withdraw from the contract extraordinarily for objectively justified reasons, for example if:
- force majeure or other circumstances for which Hotel Heiden is not responsible make fulfilment of the contract impossible .
- Rooms/rooms are booked under misleading or false statements of material facts, e.g. in the person of the customer or the purpose.
- The Hotel Heiden has reasonable grounds to believe that the use of the hotel services may jeopardise the smooth running of the business, the security or the reputation of the Hotel Heiden in public, without this being attributable to the sphere of control or organisation of the Hotel Heiden.
- The purpose or reason for the stay is unlawful.
In the event of cancellation by the hotel for the aforementioned
reasons, the guest shall not be entitled to compensation and
the compensation for the booked services shall remain owed.
